The company Edmund Merl GmbH & Co. KG produces delicacies, from high-quality salads with fish and seafood, with meat and poultry, raw vegetables and vegetables, to fine smoked fish and dips, to fresh patisserie desserts.
The products were predominantly packaged in a cup, which is directly associated with Merl by its regular users.
The aim of the project was to design a contemporary formal development of the traditional cup. The most important criteria were the recognisability of the Merl brand as well as a high-quality impression that credibly conveys freshness and enjoyment. This was achieved by the surrounding wave in the base of the cup.
From the first idea sketch to digital illustrations, to the mock-up and support in the implementation of the mould construction, a new packaging was created that successfully presents the Merl brand in a new way at the POS.
